Pryor Construction has begun a 3rd floor reconstruction due to fire damage. This also includes the rebuilding of an existing back addition. We have begun framing on the top floor and back.
Laundry rooms are no longer in basement dungeons, two floors from the bedrooms. They now reflect the overall style of the home.
Pryor Construction is building as third story masonry master bedroom suite with a large walk-in closet, wet bar and laundry. When complete there will also be usable deck areas. All of the construction materials will need to be lifted by crane to the roof. The steel has been delivered so masonry will begin.
After fire damage: – The third floor is being reframed to meet the new building code -New floor structure, floor decking and roof structure and the full rebuild of a two story rear addition.
Thin brick veneer is being applied to the exterior of the addition that complements the older Chicago brick on the existing bungalow. When compete it will tie the old with the new.
The roof deck is nearing completion. This floating decking system by TileTech allows for an Ipe wood finish deck over an existing pitched flat roof. With the added glass railing system – it continues the view outward. This third story deck will feature an outdoor fireplace with TV lounging area.
The final touches are being finished. The stack stone tile has been completed. We have installed a custom bookcase and a custom metal side compartment for stacking wood.
The custom rack and cooling system has arrived form California and has installed. This wine room features a custom glass door that can be seen from the staircase.
Our custom made walnut wall panels have been installed in the library. This wall will feature a custom rail system to hang art.
New siding is up. The darker shade of grey makes the porch more noticeable.
