We tested the factory finish on wide plank engineered flooring to see how well substances could be cleaned off. After pouring alcohol and ketchup and letting it sit for a while, we wiped each plank with a paper towel. Each substance cleaned off easily with no staining or residue. This makes the flooring good for a kitchen application.
